  How often do you travel to Europe, or particularly Salzburg? If the answer is often - maybe you find something more economical. If it is your first, and perhaps only trip to Salzburg... staying anywhere else is a mistake IMO. Spend the extra $$ per night and live like a king for a few days, the room, the hotel grounds/view, the food (which we ate for Room Service once and Dinner another night), the experience you get using the "lift" that allows a short walk to most main attractions... cant imagine a better place to stay for a trip to Salzburg. I will not argue it is cheap.. but plan ahead, save on the Flight and spend on the Hotel

  I loved staying here and I can't praise this location enough. It was the best part of my trip to Austria!

  Excellent service. Lovely views. Restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Breakfast, complimentary, is a standout.
