  Its a good hotel but slightly small rooms. Has all facilities. But mini bar was empty. You can stock it by purchasing items from the reception. Also a moisturizer in the room would be of great use. Breakfast hall is good!!

  The room was rather on the small side, but acceptable. I had breakfast in the dining room. It was €15 per person, but it was so worth it! The people at the front desk were beyond helpful.

  During our Christmas Market trip to Salzburg my girlfriend and I spent two nights at the Hotel Mercure Salzburg City. It's a short walk from the train station and in under 15 minutes you can reach most of the tourist attractions in the city. There are a number of small shops, restaurants, and other cool things to check out nearby so it's not like you're out in the middle of nowhere. The room we had was spacious, comfortable, and offered a great view over the central Courtyard. Breakfast was included in the rate and we enjoyed an early breakfast both mornings before heading out to explore the Christmas markets. The Wi-Fi worked great and the Umbrellas by the front door were a nice touch, especially when it started raining! Overall, if you're looking for somewhere to stay that's reasonably priced with a central location in Salzburg then I would definitely recommend checking out this hotel!

  We unexpectedly found ourselves in Salzburg after a Crystal Ski related disaster. I booked into the Mercure last-minute as we wanted something affordable that was likely to be a fairly known quantity. We weren't disappointed! The room was very comfortable and clean, and had a very funky modern shower. There were tea and coffee facilities and all of the usual features one would expect of a chain hotel. We also stayed for breakfast, which was hugely varied and very tasty!

  Excellent place to stay. Car park rear of the hotel. restaurants near to hotel. Supermarkets close by walking distance. Breakfast excellent Got a small playground for kids nearby also walking distance from hotel. Sad part was 1 lady at night when we check in she had to handle group plus all other work. NOt sure how it worked out. But got well Best place. Rooms are big enough for family of 3. Bathroom spacious as well.
