  I remember the days, when I have been applying for a birth certificate after a transgender transition and operation: "you need a female​ name on your birth certificate" said the local administration the Bezirkshauptmannschaft Moedling. That's why I visited the Standesamt. The guys from the Standesamt told me, they cannot issue the requested document, as they cannot identify my "new" name. An endless ping-pong has been the sad result. You know "Buchbinder Wanninger"? Those days I needed a passport badly. After that long lasting "ping - pong" I have lost my job as a sales manager. This is what the companies rep. said: "even your local authority does not accept you, why shall we..." The Austrian Ombudsman helped to solve this case. Years later I had a comeback to a similar position as an Int'l sales mgr. But, I will never forget how personal from Standesamt Moedling have treated me and how much pain and financial loss they caused. Hopefully they have learned their lesson!

  Voll nette Truppe, aber nur bis 40 Personen geeignet. Wer braucht mehr dabei am Standesamt!

  Hatte das Glück, bei zwei Hochzeiten dabei zu sein (eigene ;-) und von einem sehr guten Freund) und beide Standesbeamten waren extrem nette und lustige Personen.
