  FYI, the hours on google are incorrect...more like 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The one time I went with an appointment, everyone was super nice. Great service.

  Das Konsulat ist gut organisiert. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und sprechen Deutsch, bis auf mein Interviewpartner. Meine Empfehlung wenn möglich kurz vor 09:00 kommen, da sich nachher eine lange Schlange gebildet hat.

  Ich war heute in der Konsularabteilung der US-Botschaft in Wien für ein Interview für ein B2-Touristenvisum. Alle MitarbeiterInnen sind sehr freundlich! Angefangen von der Security am 4. Stock beim Eingang, bis hin zu den KonsulantInnen drinnen am Schalter. PS. Auch wenn manche "Visumantrag abgelehnt" hören müssen (wie bei mir einmal der Fall war), die Konsulanten haben deren Gründe und man soll es nicht persönlich nehmen. MfG

  Very helpful and responsible team! PS. Make sure not to take any gadget like ipad or laptop with you (mobile phone is okay). Otherwise you won't be able to enter the consulate.
